I do not know how to style my hair. Someone help me.
The English Scribbles Summer Camp is in session!
Music, life, writing, and more music.
The Corgi Chronicles is a delightfully charming book, perfect for kids and Corgi lovers.
I answered a question on Goodreads a few months ago, and I figured I’d share it here as well for those of you who don’t use Goodreads. The question was: How do you decide the names of your characters?
FaerieCon East was an amazing event—three days packed with magic, music, heart, story, and so much creativity!
Mark and I had the pleasure and privilege of attending a special progression tasting dinner hosted by Chef Jon Krinn at Clarity.
I’m going to Faerie Con, and I want you to join me—for FREE! Keep reading to learn how!
This weekend, I’ll be at the Small Press Expo (SPX)!
I contacted the Marcaida Kali and made arrangements to visit in Rochester, NY so that I could sit in on a class and observe in person. I wanted to hear the words they used and watch how and understand technique so that I could write better.
Friends, I can now say I have one convention under my belt. AND I'm happy to see you.
I know that doesn't make sense, but it was really funny in my head.
January 2018 is almost over, and I'm just getting around to blogging again. I got this brand new website last summer, yet I haven't blogged since last April. How embarrassing. So I'm determined to fix that! Goal 1: Blog more often! I have a lot of things planned for 2018 that I'm excited to share with all of you! Here we go!
So, back in January when I said I would clean up my act for 2017, I should have known that I’d hit a lot of walls face first. That’s just what I do. That’s what I do every year. Which is why I haven’t written a blog post in TWO MONTHS.
I’ve never done New Years resolutions. I’ve always thought it unrealistic to set up some lofty goals that I should accomplish for the year just because I was feeling new and determined and positive for one day. I knew that setting those goals would just be setting myself up for failure because I’d start off with good intentions, then inevitably give up.
Every now and then I like to do a Kindle version giveaway. I’m still feeling that holiday spirit, so I’m doing another one now! Here’s a chance to win one of ten copies of Uniting the Heavens for Kindle:
See this #AmazonGiveaway for a chance to win: Uniting the Heavens (Kindle Edition). https://giveaway.amazon.com/p/
Good luck and happy reading!
The Goodreads giveaway for Uniting the Heavens ended at midnight this past Friday. When I checked the stats on Saturday morning, I was overjoyed to see that 910 people had requested it. As an unknown author this was huge for me. You might say those are just people who want a chance at a free book—no big deal, but in my eyes, it’s 910 people who have now seen the cover of my book, 910 people who have read the title. I’m super excited!
Thank you all so much for your interest and support! Happy reading!
