Visit to the Marcaida Kali Studio
I contacted the Marcaida Kali and made arrangements to visit in Rochester, NY so that I could sit in on a class and observe in person. I wanted to hear the words they used and watch how and understand technique so that I could write better.
Awesome Con was...Awesome!
Friends, I can now say I have one convention under my belt. AND I'm happy to see you.

2018: More Writing, More Aren
January 2018 is almost over, and I'm just getting around to blogging again. I got this brand new website last summer, yet I haven't blogged since last April. How embarrassing. So I'm determined to fix that! Goal 1: Blog more often! I have a lot of things planned for 2018 that I'm excited to share with all of you! Here we go!

Recent Read: Alice 19th
So, back in January when I said I would clean up my act for 2017, I should have known that I’d hit a lot of walls face first. That’s just what I do. That’s what I do every year. Which is why I haven’t written a blog post in TWO MONTHS.
2017 Goals
I’ve never done New Years resolutions. I’ve always thought it unrealistic to set up some lofty goals that I should accomplish for the year just because I was feeling new and determined and positive for one day. I knew that setting those goals would just be setting myself up for failure because I’d start off with good intentions, then inevitably give up.
"Can My Kid Read This Book?"
One of the questions I get asked quite often about Uniting the Heavens is “can my kid read this book?”
